Horndean Hawks Sports Mile 18-03-2010 |

As we are all aware, it is that time of the year when everyone turns RED for charity! The Sports Relief Mile is being held in Southampton on Sunday 21 March, but due to match schedules and travel, Horndean Hawks FC is hosting their own mile right on your doorstep. We plan to host a mile run for the charity on Saturday 20 March at 09.30 on Five Heads Road training ground. Our aim is to get all the players of Horndean Hawks to take time out and run a mile around the field, with over 200 players that could be a whopping 200 miles, equivalent of London to Paris. All we ask of you is to raise a little cash. Sponsor forms are available online at http://www.sportrelief.com/the-mile or through Khatab Sabir, the chairman. As this will be a publicized event, could we ask everyone to come in their RED HORNDEAN HAWKS FOOTBALL KIT. Any other mad fancy dress head wear, footwear etc. Is more than welcome.
